Short Information: Indian Air Force (IAF) invites online applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for selection test to join as Agniveervayu under Agnipath Scheme for Intake 01/2027. This is a four-year service opportunity. Interested candidates can apply online from 12 January 2026 to 01 February 2026. The online selection test is scheduled for 30 & 31 March 2026. Agniveervayu Age Limit as on Date of Enrolment

Candidates must meet the following age criteria:

  • Date of Birth Block: Candidates born between 01 January 2006 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.

  • Upper Age Limit: After clearing all stages, the candidate should not be older than 21 years on the date of enrolment.

Domicile Must choose one category: Permanent Domicile, COAFP-I (Children of Serving AF Personnel), or COAFP-II (Children of Retired/Deceased AF Personnel).

Chest (Male): Min. 77 cm, expansion 5 cm. Chest (Female): Well proportioned, expansion 5 cm.
Vision: 6/12 each eye correctable to 6/6. Refractive error limits: Hypermetropia +2.0D, Myopia -1.0D, Astigmatism ±0.50D. Colour Vision CP-II.
General: Normal hearing, healthy teeth, mentally & physically fit.

Selection Process for Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027

  1. Phase-I (Online Test): Objective type, bilingual (Eng & Hindi). Marks are Normalised. Candidates must qualify in each paper individually.
  2. Phase-II (At Air Force Selection Centre – ASC): For shortlisted candidates.
    • Document Verification
    • Physical Fitness Test (PFT): 1.6 Km Run (Male: 7 min, Female: 8 min). PFT-II: 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, 20 Squats (Male); 10 Sit-ups, 15 Squats (Female) within stipulated time.
    • Adaptability Test-I: Objective written test.
    • Adaptability Test-II: As per policy.
  3. Phase-III (Medical Examination): By IAF Medical Team. Includes Blood, Urine, Biochemistry, X-Ray, Ultrasound (female), ECG tests.
  4. Provisional Select List (PSL): State-wise merit list based on Phase-II performance and state-wise vacancies.

Candidates can apply online by following these steps:
