About Post :Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur has released the official notification for the Engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2025-26. A total of 1149 apprentice posts are available in various trades across multiple divisions/units of ECR. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 26 September 2025 to 25 October 2025.

✅ Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules:

Selection Process
✅ Selection will be based on Merit List prepared on the basis of average marks obtained in:
- 10th/Matriculation (with minimum 50% marks)
- ITI Examination
(Equal weightage to both)
📌 In case of a tie:
- Older candidate will be given preference.
- If DOB is same, the candidate who passed matriculation earlier will be preferred.

- Only one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple applications will be rejected.
- Candidate must have a valid Aadhaar number (or Voter ID/Passport/Driving License for J&K, Meghalaya, Assam).
