Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry 2026 – Overview
Under the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme, selected candidates will be inducted as cadets and trained for four years at INA, Ezhimala. After successful completion of training, candidates will be granted Permanent Commission in the Executive or Technical branches of the Indian Navy.

Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board
- Minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)
- At least 50% marks in English (Class 10 or Class 12)
JEE Main Requirement
- Candidates must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2025 for B.E./B.Tech
- SSB shortlisting will be done based on JEE Main 2025 All India Common Rank List (CRL) published by NTA
- Filling the CRL Rank in the application form is compulsory
Medical Standards
- Candidates recommended by SSB must undergo medical examination applicable to 10+2 B.Tech Entry
- No relaxation is permitted in:
- Medical standards
- Height and weight
- Tattoo policy
- Change of medical hospital or centre is not allowed

Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry 2026 – Selection Process
🔹 Shortlisting
- Naval Headquarters will decide the cut-off based on JEE Main 2025 CRL
🔹 SSB Interview
- SSB interviews will be conducted from March 2026 onwards
- Interview centres:

- Visakhapatnam
🔹 Communication & Instructions
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email and SMS
- Candidates must not change their mobile number or email ID during the selection process
- Change of SSB centre is not permitted
- Call-up letters must be downloaded online
- Any request related to SSB dates must be sent to the concerned SSB authority
🔹 Travel Allowance
- AC 3-Tier train fare is admissible for candidates appearing for SSB for the first time
- Candidates must carry:
- Bank passbook first page or
- Cheque leaf showing name, account number, and IFSC
Merit List & Final Selection
- A Common Merit List will be prepared based on SSB marks
- Final appointment is subject to:
- Medical fitness
- Police verification
- Character verification
- Availability of vacancies
Women Candidates – Important
- Maximum 07 vacancies can be allotted to women
- Selection depends on position in the common merit list
- Women vacancies will not exceed 07 under any circumstances

Important Rules & Disqualification
