Q1. What is the last date to apply for RSSB Clerk Grade-II 2026?
A1. The last date to apply online is 13 February 2026.
Q2. I am from Uttar Pradesh and belong to SC category. Can I apply under SC quota?
A2. No. Candidates from other states claiming SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS status will be treated as General Category for this recruitment and must pay the General category fee.
Q3. Is the typing test in Phase-II compulsory for all?
A3. No. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (as defined under RPwD Act 2016) who are exempted from the typing test will be awarded marks based on their Phase-I performance.
Q4. What if I make a mistake in the online form?
A4. You can make corrections in the online form during the specified “Editing” period by paying a correction fee of ₹300. However, personal details like Name, Father’s Name, DOB, Gender, and Photo fetched from OTR cannot be changed in the application.
Q5. I have already paid the OTR fee for a previous exam. Do I need to pay again?
A5. No. The One Time Registration (OTR) fee is paid once. If you have a valid OTR, you do not need to pay the registration fee again for this application.
Q6. What is the salary for Clerk Grade-II in Rajasthan?
A6. The salary will be as per the 7th Pay Commission. The notification mentions a fixed remuneration during the probation period, after which the regular pay scale and allowances will be applicable.
Q7. Are there any reservations for women?
A7. Yes, there is a horizontal reservation of 30% for women category-wise (General, SC, ST, OBC, etc.).
Q8. What documents are needed for the online application?
A8. You need your educational certificates, computer qualification certificate, category certificate (if applicable), domicile, passport-size photo, signature scan, and your CET-2024 application number.
Q9. Can I submit an offline application?
A9. No. Only online applications submitted through the official SSO/Recruitment portal will be accepted.
Q10. What happens if I am absent from the exam after applying?
A10. As per the PDF, if a candidate remains absent in two exams conducted by RSSB/ RPSC in a financial year (April-March), their OTR facility may be blocked. They can reactivate it by paying a penalty fee.
