Selection Process
The selection process for UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandants Exam 2026 consists of the following stages:
Stage 1: Written Examination
- Paper-I: General Ability and Intelligence (Objective Type) – 250 Marks
- Paper-II: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension (Descriptive) – 200 Marks
- Minimum qualifying marks fixed separately for each paper
- Paper-I evaluated first; Paper-II evaluated only for those qualifying Paper-I
Stage 2: Physical Standards Tests (PST)
