The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj has released the notification for the Special Teacher Eligibility Test (Special TET) 2026, Advertisement No. 03/2026. Primary Level Teachers

Upper Primary Level Teachers

Teachers working at the Upper Primary/Junior High School level in the applicable schools are eligible for the Upper Primary Level Special TET, subject to the prescribed conditions.

Special Educator (CWSN) – Primary Level

UP Special TET 2026 Examination Centre

Examination centres will be established at district headquarters as required. A candidate may be allotted any examination centre by the Commission.

Important Application Instructions

  • Only a black ball-point pen should be used.
  • The required circles on the OMR sheet must be completely and correctly darkened.
  • Fountain pens, gel pens, sketch pens, pencils and other coloured ball-point pens are prohibited.
  • Whitener must not be used.
  • Eraser, blade, nail or any other method of damaging or altering the OMR sheet is prohibited.
  • Once a circle has been marked, alteration is not permitted.
  • Marking more than one option for a question will result in the question not being evaluated.

Scribe Facility for Divyang Candidates

Eligible Divyang candidates will be provided the facility of a scribe according to the applicable government orders.

Candidates seeking the scribe facility are required to complete the prescribed registration process with the Commission’s office at least one week before the written examination, along with the required details, so that appropriate seating arrangements can be made.

Eligible candidates receiving the scribe facility will receive 20 minutes of additional time per hour of examination. No travel allowance will be payable to the scribe.

Reserved Category Instructions

Candidates claiming reservation-related benefits must enter their applicable category correctly in the application.

Important conditions include:

  • A candidate claiming more than one reserved category will receive only one applicable relaxation, whichever is more beneficial.
  • Reservation benefits are not available to candidates who are not permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Such candidates will be treated under the General category.
  • For female candidates, the caste certificate issued from the father’s side is accepted as specified in the notification.
  • Caste certificates must be issued in the prescribed Uttar Pradesh Government format.
  • Candidates claiming benefits under freedom fighter dependent, Divyang or other reserved categories must produce the prescribed certificates.

UP Special TET 2026 Admit Card

Information regarding the written examination date, time, place, centre and other details will be communicated through SMS, email, newspapers and the Commission’s website/portal.

Candidates can download the admit card from the UPESSC website after the Commission activates the admit-card facility.
